Description

Used to introduce, transport, or temporarily keep a queen safe inside the hive.

How it works:

• The queen is placed in the cage with food
• the cage is inserted into the hive
• Worker bees eat through the food over several days, releasing the queen gradually.
• By the time she's free, the colony is more likely to accept her.

Difference between from a Queen Clip:

• Queen clip- short-term holding during inspections.
• Queen cage- longer term holding, introduction or transport.
